I came in with a tire with a slow leak. The tire was repaired fine. But seems like when purchasing a vehicle From Goldstien GMC a tire warranty of some kind would be included. Maybe a road hazzard warranty and tire warranty . The tire only has about 11000 on it. The vehicle is leased from Goldstien from February 2024. Instead the charge was $50,,,,which I know is very reasinable for such a repair, but I would think there would be know chard under some warranty for such a large purchase at the same dealer.

Seems like the service advisor forgot I was waiting for my vehicle and at 10:18 I texted the number asking how much longer I had to wait, then he came out with my keys. I did not have the courtesy alignment check, etc stapled to my paperwork either like I normally do.

I have a problem with that because this vehicle has less than 6,500 miles and these lights are coming on frequently everyday. When I had prior oil changes done the service agent always applied a coupon this agent charged me $139 for the oil change. He also charged me $75 for front windshield wipers. So my bill was $253 for a service that I usually pay $173. I live over 70 miles from this dealership, so I do not think I will make the trip up to Albany to have my car serviced anymore.

This was my first experience as a customer with the Goldstein Auto Group. My 2022 GMC Canyon AT4 was brought in on October 9, 2025 for a 9:00 a.m. appointment. The primary purpose of my visit was to address a tailgate striker bolt that had fallen off the truck bed. I requested that this be formally documented by a representative of the company. Additionally, I had requested a vehicle safety inspection and a review of the brakes. I am satisfied with the quality of the work performed on my vehicle, and the professionalism of several of your employees. However, my overall experience was significantly undermined by the actions and conduct of the service advisor assigned to my vehicle. Specifically, the following issues occurred: * At 2:10 PM on October 9, I received a text message from my service advisor stating they had tried to call, but no voicemail or missed call was recorded on my phone. * I sent a text message to the service advisor at 5:15 p.m. on October 9, to inquire about the status of my vehicle, but I received no response. * The lack of communication forced me to call the dealership to confirm whether the work would be completed that day. * Upon being informed the vehicle was ready, I drove through rush-hour traffic to pick it up, only to be told the register was closed, necessitating a second trip the following day. * During my vehicle pickup on October 10, the service advisor's behavior was both unacceptable and unprofessional while I questioned multiple versions of my invoice (#67812). During our discussion, 4 different invoice print outs were presented. I retained the first and final versions and remain unsatisfied with parts of the final document. Furthermore, upon a more detailed review of invoice #67812, I discovered that the initial, primary reason for my service visit—the issue with the tailgate striker bolt—was not documented correctly. As a representative of General Motors, accurate documentation is critical for tracking such component failures. I intend to speak with the service manager directly to discuss this experience and to ensure the proper documentation is created.

I was first in but it took a very long time to do my inspection and oil change. In any case, even though I had requested no wash because I had recently done it by hand and the car was sparkling clean the service advisor noted that on the service plan but it was washed anyway and the car was returned to me with tons of white soap spots all over it. I never use your washing service because I do not want the finish to be beat upon with your automated rags which are too heavy and abrasive and wear away the wax finish. The result is that I will now have to have the car detailed to remove the soap spots and restore the wax finish.

I came in for the free first oil change and tire rotation. I was the first one in line and when the car was returned to me they never did the tire rotation. I have a chip out of the right front rim and it was still on the right front when they returned the car so I know they didn’t rotate the tires. I hope they actually didn't the oil change. Now I have to waste more time going back to have the tires rotated. Very disappointed in the experience.

The service I have received is great but I would like further assistance with the issue. In the 6 months or so I have had two Pioter filter blowouts on my 2019 Chevy 3500 with the diesel engine. Each time the filter was the cause with nothing else seen. I have seen issues reported online on the AC Delco PF2232 issues. There have not been any indications that the filter is failing, it jut completely let’s go and looses all the oil. I have no confidence that this will not happen every time I drive it. Could research be done on the filter problem. I was told that this filter has to be used on all warranty work but just putting the same filter in does not make sense to me. Thanks

I had been in the dealership prior to this visit-as I got new tires and needed the pressure monitors reset. At that time I was told the back left needed a new battery. I was due for an oil change so figured I’d make an appointment and do it all at once, along with headlight replacements ( I had bought the bulbs but needed them put in). The associate told me all pressure sensors were now bad and needed replacing and the labor charge to change the headlights would be $130-double what I actually paid for the bulbs. He also advised a price for new breaks and rotors but realized he forgot the labor charge and came back with a different price. Needless to say, I paid for my oil change and will go back to the Honda dealer I was using for service previously-the prices are much more reasonable and the personnel is usually top notch-I came here bc they simply can’t reprogram my tire sensors. Lesson learned

I was at Goldstein Buick GMC for my routine oil change and tire rotation and was not pleased. Prior to vehicle drop off I removed a valve stem cap from one of my tires. When I was notified my vehicle was ready go pickup I was assured the oil change and tire rotation had been completed. Upon arrival to the vehicle the tire I had removed the valve stem cap from was still in the same place indicating the tires had not been rotated even though I was charged for the service and assured it had been done. I was offered a refund for the tire rotation that did not get done and that was all. I left the dealership very dissatisfied. Service advisor told me Front Diff, Rear Diff and Transfer Case fluids needed changed as part of 30K miles service. Truck has just under @28K miles. The service interval for these items is actually 50K miles so this was very misleading. Also, to be charged $600 for these three items is nothing short of robbery. Remove drain bolt, drain fluid. Replace drain bolt, Remove Fill bolt, Fill fluid, replace fill bolt. Times 3 this is MAYBE 30 minutes work with the truck already on the lift for the oil change. Shame on me for being in a rush and authorizing this work without questioning. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

I had a 2016 Buick Encore Leather that I purchased from another dealership in 2020. It had 49000 miles on it at the time. Looked very clean and ran great.Brought it back to where I bought it originally for a while, but being a Nissan dealership they many times I had to wait for the filter to be delivered on the day of the appt even though I told them what I had at the time I made the appt. I then thought I would try Mangino Buick. Went there a few times, but wait days were limited and it's further than I wanted to go, At one of the visits they noticed one of my rear springs was broken and said when replacing one the other should be done at the same time. A $1000.oo cost. After that I decided to try Goldstein as my friend has had a good experience with Goldstien Subaru. First few times were great, then after an oil change I noticed oil on my driveway, Brought it in and was told that the head gasket was leaking, After 3 visits and the initial repair cost that got fixed, Then I drought it in for an oil change, inspection and tire rotation, Not long after my check tire monitor system message came on, Brought the car in and was told the battery on one of the monitors was dead and the other 3 are almost there too. $700, later here I am with another oil leak. Brought it back this past week and was told that there are a few oil leaks with the engine, with a $4500, estimate to fix, Plus you would have it for a week and I would have to get a rental. That did me in, the car has 59000 miles, I took very good care of it and still owed 5700.00 on it. I decided that day to get rid of it. I was not planning on buying another car for a while so either fixing the Buick or getting something new it still set me back, Goldstien GMC was ok to deal with and my service techs felt bad having to give me the news, I know the car is 10 yrs old, and things happen, but that was too much, with the new vehicle at least I have a warranty and hopefully piece of mind

I went for an inspection and an oil change. Everything went well until the service advisor told me the scraped some of the tint on the windshield off. ( I do have an exemption for the tint on the windows ) I was upset about it it cost me $400 to get that done. To make it worse the tech that did this didn’t just put the sticker on the window and now it looks like the sticker is half ripped off they should have came to me as soon as it happened but they didn’t they just put the sticker on it and gave me the car. Now not only do I need to fix the tint on the windshield because it looks awful I have to take the sticker off the windshield and because it’s on both tint and glass hope I can use it and not have to get it inspected again. With all that being said, I had to pay full price didn’t offer 10% off didn’t apologize didn’t ask how can we make this right nothing here’s your key have a nice day. As a matter of fact he said the tint shouldn’t have been there in the first place, and another tech immediately said we can’t inspect that car as soon as I pulled into the garage. I really like Goldstein but I don’t want to have another experience like I had this time, I’m unsure if I will go back. The tire pressure sensor on my Lacrosse showed that I needed air in my tire, yet when I checked it at a gas station, it was right where it belonged. I stopped by Goldstein GMC Buick and Scot Selby took the info and had the technician replace the sensor, and then found that the lug nuts were worn, and not wanting to lose a tire while I am driving, he recommended replacing them. I had no appointment, and Scot made it possible to repair my car. Scot is one of Goldstein Buick's true assets who makes sure customers are well taken care of. This is not the first time I dealt with Scot. He builds relationships with customers and Goldstein GMC Buick is truly lucky to have someone like him representing this dealership.
